SUMMER FUN IN MONTH OF JUNE

Our friends, Doug & Betty Jo McKinlay were good sports
and played dress-up with us at the Lewis & Clark visitor center.

Visiting the spot where Orson Hyde's cabin was located in Kanesville
during the years of 1846-52.

We enjoyed having the McKinlays stay with us
on their way back home to Utah.

We love bringing visitors to the Winter Quarters Temple.

Being able to serve in the temple is one of the best
parts of our mission!

On our field trip to Fort Atkinson the sister missionaries
added some "visual aids" to this Lewis & Clark exhibit.
(Pass-along card & Book of Mormon)

A soldier at Fort Atkinson giving us a tour of this
reconstructed 1820's outpost...
the largest of its kind in the country.

The McKinlays helped fix lunch for the missionaries
after our tour of Fort Atkinson.
(once a mission pres. always a mission pres.)

What a day for a picnic...enjoying lunch outside
Fort Atkinson with the sister missionaries and senior couples.

SPECIAL DAY AT THE WINTER QUARTERS TEMPLE

Gathering at the Winter Quarters Temple.

Josh went through the temple for the first time....
soon headed to the M.T.C.

Ellsworth men after attending the temple.
Welcome home Taylor, and farewell soon to Josh.

Even Rachel got to attend the temple,
doing baptisms while the rest went on a session.

We are so happy to have our family here with us
at the temple!

What a wonderful day....being in the temple with Josh, Taylor
and so many members of our family.

Don't try doing a 1000 piece puzzle in 1 day!

Paige and Jared fixing tortillas for everyone.

It's always a party when cousins get together!
We had such a great time with everyone!

SOME FAVORITE ZOO PICTURES....JUNE 13, 2013

CRAIG, PAIGE, MADISON and AVERY VISIT OMAHA

Avery brought Flat Stanley along
to visit the Kanesville Tabernacle.

We had great fun showing Craig and the girls all
around the Pioneer Trail Center.

Madison and Avery had fun being handcart pioneers at the Trail Center.
The aquarium at the zoo was a big hit!

Watching the IMAX film at the zoo.

The gorillas put on a good show, but didn't scare
anyone with a body-slam to the window like we were hoping.

The Jungle Dome made us feel like we were visiting
Costa Rica, or some tropical rain forest.

We spent about seven hours at the zoo and still
didn't see everything we hoped to see.

Pioneer Courage Park...riding in the wagon train.
"Are we there yet?"

Having a fun time dressing up in costumes
at the Lewis & Clark visitor center.

A creative way to stand in two states at once!

KATHY, DAVE, AARON, ALLISON, A.J. and AIDEN visit us in OMAHA

We loved having Kathy, Dave and family stay with us
June 1-6th.  It was fun showing them all around our mission.

Pioneer Courage Park looks best on a warm, sunny day!

These costumes at the Lewis and Clark visitor center
are starting to look very familiar!

Hiking across the Kerry Pedestrian Bridge
is a great way to be in two states at once!

The Omaha Zoo is a big attraction with all our visitors.
We especially love the gorillas!

The Jungle Dome is also a favorite, with lots of
monkeys, bats, hippos, fish and birds.

Can't decide where to go next....so much to see at the zoo!

Eating ice cream and watching movies....this is living!
